Taken while walking through the woods a couple of weeks ago. It was close to sunset, and the sunbeams fell really beautifully over a lonely tree-stump.

I've always thought I'm no good at nature photography, so I've been trying to overcome this complex lately. I'll get there, I guess.

Do you know what? You are good in nature photography. You have managed to capture the lights and the certain feeling which woods has.
Wish that also I could shoot something like this.

Aww... that tree is so cute. You really emphasise it with the light. You almost make me feel sorry for the poor little guy.

On a more geographical analytical level. That forest is so blatantly managed, there is nothing wild about it.

Cute trees? You surprise me sometimes :lol: Treehugging ftw.

And also, this picture was taken in a spot that isn't very deep within the woods. I did go much further, to where paths stopped being all that clear, but the first area of the forest was calmer and it gave me a feeling of peace.
